If you have any concerns at all regarding your child's speech, language or feeding development, please contact us in order to schedule a free phone consultation/speech screening at 919-605-5769 or crystalt@bloomingexpressions.net. You can also move straight to a full evaluation if you would like or if your pediatrician has already recommended it.

Evaluations and treatment sessions are conducted in homes and daycares in Clayton and surrounding areas.

Daycare: No, parents are not required to be present. The speech-language pathologist will contact the parent following the evaluation to discuss results and recommendations. The SLP will also reach out weekly regarding progress made in treatment sessions and what parents can work on at home.

Home: Yes, the parent/caregiver must be home for therapy sessions. Depending on how the child best learns, the parent can stay in the same room or go in a different room. Some children do better with parents NOT in the room, however other situations the child may participate even better with a parent present. Either way, the SLP will communicate with parent following the session in regard to what they can work on at home to facilitate generalization of skills. 

Evaluations range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the type of evaluation

Treatment sessions are 30 minutes

Birth to 21 years old

Yes. We are currently in-network with Cigna, Aetna, Alliance Health, Medicaid, WellCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Carolina Complete and Healthy Blue. We also accept private pay. Please contact us directly for our rates.
