 My autistic daughter started with Crystal when she was about 3 years old. She wasn't using single or even two word phrases, didn't say hi/bye, could not vocalize much of anything. She would have extreme tantrums and sometimes even full blown meltdowns because of her inability to express herself. It took only 6 months of speech therapy with Crystal and I was seeing major results. We chose to do twice weekly visits (30 min each). By the 1 year mark, my daughter was naming colors, animals, letters, imitating almost every sound/word she could. We are now 1 ½ years with Crystal and my child is asking questions, answering questions, labeling things, sounding out words with more than 2 syllables, etc. Crystal is so easy-going and amazing with my daughter. She handles everything my daughter throws her way and keeps the learning fun. She updates goals regularly and truly knows what your child needs. We are so thankful and forever grateful. My 2 1/2 year old son worked with Crystal for several months and she has truly made a world of difference! He was slow to start talking and needed some help with his verbal communication. Crystal is absolutely wonderful! There was a time I thought I would never hear my son speak, but after therapy twice a week with Crystal for nearly 4 years, he found his sweet little voice. Crystal was a God sent! She is so knowledgeable about speech therapy and connecting the dots for kids who struggle putting words with their feelings/actions. My daughter was 18 months when we started ST with Crystal. She was not saying many words, mainly just sounds. It was frustrating for everyone until Crystal started teaching my daughter signs (along with instructing me). Signing was a huge bridge for the gap of frustration. It was the first way we could communicate with our daughter and helped tremendously! Over the next few years, therapy twice a week with Crystal paid off so much. My daughter's language came so far.
